Preventing Construction Site Pollution
One of the most important aspects of today’s civil engineering projects is the elimination of pollutants leaving the job site. In most cases, this is incorporated into the project’s grading plan or site development plan. Most engineers today are highly trained experts at reducing silt and similar pollutants from leaving the construction site.
Site Development construction is a dirty business (pardon the pun). There is a great need to keep the dust and silt on the job-site and not on the streets or surrounding community. This is done using construction site erosion control BMPs (Best Management Practices). We prepare reports to analyze the construction site and find the type and location of these BMPs so they are placed in an effective manner to minimize pollutants from leaving the project.
