Our Colorado Springs Office
Our Colorado Springs office brings our experience in environmentally sensitive stormwater engineering solutions to Colorado. We are eager to work with other engineers and architects to support their designs as the State of Colorado imposes the new stormwater regulations being mandated today.
As a result of recent lawsuits between the Environmental Protection Agency and the City of Denver, Colorado Springs is being required to rewrite the regulations governing site development as it relates to drainage design and stormwater quality.
We are eager to join with the local building community and have already secured a membership in the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs. We plan to engage with local non-profits to further support the community.
Having practiced environmentally sensitive site design on Southern California for over decades, we bring an understanding and depth of experience to Colorado Springs that will be beneficial to local design-teams. Our intent is to have this office only support other engineering companies and developers. That is to say, we want to blend into an existing civil engineering situation and provide the special knowledge and experience required for the stormwater regulations.
This office will focus on working with other civil engineers on project teams. We will specialize in designing BMPs and related hydraulic and water quality elements to meet the region’s water quality (NPDES) regulations.
